Position
We are seeking a technically savvy, results-oriented, and quality-focused individual with strong leadership, Iphone/Ipad application development, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineering manager or lead with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software releases on time. You will manage the technical success of 10-15 concurrent software development projects for high pressure clients in Europe. You will have demonstrated experience in understanding complex architecture, driving teams and building process. You would also thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment and will be enthusiastic about helping us shape engineering practices.
Responsibilties
Manage a team of 20-25 world-class software engineers - Recruit, Retain, Grow, motivate and lead the team.
Engineering managers at SapnaSolutions write code. You'll be a key technical contributor, while leading a team of iPhone engineers
Work to create improvements in our development and test processes
Be a thought-leader on delivery of quality software within our organization
Work with management, Client teams, QA and operations to ensure successful software releases
Create an environment that rewards performance, innovation and creativity – lead by example
You'll help to scope projects and milestones into appropriate amounts of work, in aggressive but reasonable timeframes, and drive your team towards successful deliveries.
Establish metrics that track progress at a group and individual level
Requirements
Objective-C expertise, with knowledge of iPhone and/or Mac OS X frameworks.·
Minimum of 5 years in industry, writing code.
Minimum of one year as an engineering manager, OR proven track record as technical lead for a team with several members. Both desire and ability to be a hands-on technical manager are a must for this role.
