Hemendra Kothari, better known as one of India’s most successful and principled bankers, founded the Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT) in 2002. Wildlife Conservation Trust is a non-governmental, public charitable trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 since March 2002. It is dedicated and committed to preserve, protect and conserve wildlife including creating awareness of wildlife conservation to help restore natural harmony between humans and environment; financing research projects in this field; providing support packages to Protected Areas to strengthen wildlife conservation; imparting skills, development training, and improving living conditions of the frontline staff in these areas.
Wildlife Conservation Trust is seeking to hire a dynamic and results driven individual as Head Livelihoods, to lead and design their livelihood focused programs in rural areas. This being a newly created role, the incumbent will be responsible for building partnerships with multiple Not for Profits and For Profits working within the livelihood domain. She/he will be required to assist in the fundraising activities of the organization. The position will be based in Mumbai and involves working closely with Head – Education.
